Overview
Taking place at the IMechE’s historic One Birdcage Walk headquarters, Conference Day One features world-leading experts drawn from the governmental, academic and industrial spheres, delivering presentations across three streamed technical sessions and plenary keynotes.
Workshop Days Two and Three present a unique opportunity for intense discussions and networking between delegates to explore, enable, and enhance opportunities for international collaboration on research projects. Day two takes place at HR Wallingford, the UK’s premier research centre for Hydraulics Engineering, and includes opportunities for attendees to tour the world class experimental facilities.
Key points;
- Conference Day 1 features high-level representatives from the British, Japanese and Indian Governments as well as an international lineup of world-renowned expert speakers
- After Conference Day 1 there is our annual James Clayton Lecture which is free and open to all. This is presented by Prof Toby Peters from UoBirmingham’s Centre for Sustainable Cooling, there will also be a free networking reception to follow
- Workshop Day 2 takes place at HR Wallingford and includes a tour in the day, and a dinner hosted at Brunel in the evening
- Day 3 is at Brunel and concludes with a Met Office hosted consultation/workshop.
Attendees can register to attend Conference Day One, or the entire three-day Conference and Workshop. Places at the workshop are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.
