Speakers
David McNair BEng (Hons) EngTech MICE
David is a Regional Engineer for MGF in the North West and Yorkshire regions. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool in 2006, he worked as an engineer for Balfour Beatty. After nearly 8 years, David transferred to the specialist design of excavation support systems with MGF in July 2014.
During his career, David has been involved in the delivery of projects at differing stages of the project lifecycle in various civil engineering disciplines, both on site and from an excavation support perspective. David’s recent design experience for MGF has involved reviewing temporary works design briefs, completing temporary works designs and checks, whilst working closely with contractors to determine safe and value-engineered solutions.
Lewis Hoggan BEng (Hons)
Lewis is a Regional Engineer for MGF covering Scotland and the North East regions. Lewis has worked in the construction industry for fifteen years, initially working on site with Ogilvie Construction Ltd. Following a period working for Local Authorities in Edinburgh and West Lothian, the past ten years have been focused on temporary works, working with contractors and equipment suppliers such as Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall, Galliford Try and Mabey Hire.
